Algorithm Checklist Parameters:
- Cough (0 = none, 5 = constantly)
- Phlegm (0 = none, 5 = completely full)
- Chest tightness (0 = none, 5 = extremely tight)
- Breathlessness walking up a hill/stairs (0 = none, 5 = severely out of breath)
- Activity limitations at home (0 = none, 5 = highly limited)
- Confidence leaving home (0 = completely confident, 5 = not at all confident)
- Sleep quality (0 = sound sleep, 5 = severely disrupted sleep)
- Energy levels (0 = lots of energy, 5 = no energy at all)
Primary Clinical Application:
Establishes therapeutic targets, tracks exacerbations, and titrates COPD pharmacotherapy.
