Algorithm Checklist Parameters:
- Age > 65 years (+1 point)
- Prior PE or DVT history (+2 points)
- Surgery or lower limb fracture in past month (+2 points)
- Active malignant tumor (+2 points)
- Unilateral lower limb pain (+3 points)
- Active hemoptysis (+2 points)
- Heart Rate tier
- Unilateral edema and deep calf pain on examination (+4 points)
Primary Clinical Application:
Triage suspected PE using objective risk categories.
