Estimates 2-day to 90-day risk of stroke after a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA).
Algorithm Checklist Parameters:
- Age ≥ 60 years
- Blood Pressure (SBP ≥ 140 or DBP ≥ 90 mmHg on initial exam)
- Clinical Features of TIA
- Duration of TIA symptoms
- History of Diabetes Mellitus
Primary Clinical Application:
Informs clinical decision of whether to hospitalize a TIA patient to coordinate rapid workup.
