Algorithm Checklist Parameters:
- Patient Age (years)
- Biological Sex is Male (+10 Full index)
- Active Cancer / Neoplastic disease (+30 Full, +1 sPESI)
- History of Heart Failure (+10 Full, +1 sPESI combined with COPD)
- Chronic Lung Disease / COPD (+10 Full, +1 sPESI combined with Heart Failure)
- Pulse Rate ≥ 110 beats per minute (+20 Full, +1 sPESI)
- Systolic Blood Pressure < 100 mmHg (+30 Full, +1 sPESI)
- Respiratory Rate ≥ 30 breaths per minute (+20 Full)
- Temperature < 36°C / 96.8°F (+20 Full)
- Altered Mental Status / Confusion (+60 Full)
- Oxygen Saturation SpOâ‚‚ < 90% (+20 Full, +1 sPESI)
