The highly preferred Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Score (ASDAS) combining clinical reporting and high-sensitivity CRP.
Algorithm Checklist Parameters:
- 1. Back pain intensity (VAS 0 to 10 scale)
- 2. Duration of morning stiffness (VAS 0 to 10 scale)
- 3. Peripheral joint pain / swelling (VAS 0 to 10 scale)
- 4. Patient Global Assessment of disease activity (VAS 0 to 10 scale)
- 5. CRP level (mg/L) (Must be mg/L, not mg/dL)
Primary Clinical Application:
The standard assessment tool endorsed by ASAS/EULAR to select patients for systemic treatment and track therapeutic responses.
